20B Single Turbo FD

Autotech Motorsports LCC has transplanted a 20B, with single turbo, into a 1995 RX-7.  A 20B conversion has been done before.  However what makes Autotech Motorsports LLC conversion unique is as follows:

The steering column and rack stays in place.  No bump steer.

The engine sits 3-4 inches lower.  Even lower than the stock engine.

The engine sits 6-7 inches backward into the transmission tunnel.

No cutting of the firewall was involve.

The shifter virtually stays in its stock location.

The engine sits lower than stock.  The 20B engine has been fully disassembled, blue printed, ported and rebuild with Iannetti ceramic seals.

Custom Subrame

Here's the shot of the new custom subframe.  No bump steer on this conversion.

Shifter location is virtually same as stock.

Video

The sound of the 20B motor reving can be pleasant to the ear.  Here's some video shots taken from this car.

This is an engine bay shot where the motor is being rev.  Notice how low and inward that motor setup.   (3.8MB)

Exhaust note

That sweet 20B roar right at the exhaust. (1.77MB)
